I said it before.I hate to admit this but i have been thinking about reloading for about 2 years.I know you shouldn't be fearful of the whole process of reloading but should be done with complete concentration.I hope my wife didn't send some bad JUJU my way when she said I hope you don't blow things up.Thanks for reading this post and hope it make sense I wasn't quite sure how to word this & ashamed to admit this.

Nothing wrong with your concerns ect. LOL did ya read what I did reloading my .223..... used the wrong primer....caused to much pressure...couldnt eject the brass. Im not gonna try and talk you into anything....Your decission. What ever it is, YOU are the only one that matters. I think you will be hard pressed to find ANYONE that hasnt made a mistake....if they say they havnt I WOULDNT BELIEVE THEM ANYWAY...:p
Thank You SW 01 I'm pretty sure with everyone has It all seems overwhelming with all that i have read about reloading.I really want to get started into the hobby of reloading.I will be asking lots of questions.
I agree with SW01.
Ask away.
If I was in that area, I'd be willing to look over your shoulder for a spell.
Thanks for the replies I have committed as far as investing a few hundred dollars already with a few more to spend Im not really in it for saving money but as a hobbie also.Someone stated that it was to time consuming, said in a negative way.But thats not a problem for me.:D

LOL...Show me a hobby that isnt TIME CONSUMING. You can spend as much time as you like. I dont reload 100s of rounds at a time. Most so far is 21 to put thruough 3 .308s. For the .223 I have just done in batches of 3. As for the $$ so far I have laid out a little over $300. For me the challange is finding the optimum load for each application. Once that is done, who knows in what other directiion I will go with it.

Success is "A JOURNEY.....NOT A DESTINATION"

A hint for you.
Go to the local shooting range, as I did about 25 years back, and just ask a few questions.

I eventually got into this old bloke, who was a 1000 and 1500 yard, target shooter.
He was the best bloke ever, and the amount of information passed onto me was enormous.
Cheers Mate

My mistake was the first magnum rounds I reloaded was with standard primers.

Very interesting effect, is secondary burning and the kick back was unreal
