Looking to buy a Marlin 60SS. .

It has the stainless barrel and receiver with laminated stock, a rubber recoil pad and swivels

Would prefer new.

I am 64. Hunt whitetails with bow and rifle. Shoot a fair amount of trap. My hunting area started allowing rifles to be used 5 years ago. Bought a Savage 110 in 30.06. Good gun, but heavy and not a good feel in my hands. looked at a Marlin XS7 in 7mm-08 in camo synthetic. Ws impressed at Marlin features for the price. I like it a lot better than the Savage. Factory loads were erratic, but handloads are great in it. Eyes aren't what they use to be so the sights on my Winchester Model 62a are blurry at best. Putting a scope on it would ruin it. Decided to get a new .22. Looked at Ruger 10/22, but kinda boxy. The Marlin 60 feels better to me so I am looking for one to buy. Have been able to find standard grade ones, but I want the 60SS because it looks nicer, has recoil pad and swivels. If anyone has a lead on a Marlin 60SS, let me know.
