For sale is a beautiful Marlin 336 R.C. in 35 Remington, manufactured in 1976 (JM and pre-safety, of course). Serial number Wxxxxx.
It has a standard 20" barrel with 6 round magazine. The black walnut stock has more "black" than many, making this one VERY handsome. The forearm is the most slender one Marlin ever put on a 336, very much like the Winchester's forearms were; it feels superb in the hand. Notice the script engraving declaring "The Marlin Firearms Co." on the barrel. Both the wood and blueing are in excellent condition, with only very minor handling marks. The bore is bright and sharp. Original hard rubber buttplate and grip cap, both with white spacers, and gold trigger complete the package. All functions perform as designed.
