I like the way my X7VH .223 shoots except for the trigger. I have adjusted it down as far as it will go , about 2 1/4lb. This rifle is used as a bipod target not a hunting rifle so I would like to get the trigger down to around 1lb or lower if possible. My gunsmith has never worked on a Marlin trigger & we have discussed either cutting the spring or a smaller spring same length. Does anyone have any other suggestions?
