mine had a ramp sight on the front, mounted with two small screws, and the rear was mounted in a dovetail groove. i removed both of mine and went just with a scope.

 

As I posted in my thread before, I spoke with Tech Sights LLC on the phone and they do not make a front sight that will work with the old style wraparound front sight. I haven't looked into Williams sights yet, but I've been told that might be an option.
